How posting works
Social Surfboard prepares your content and reminds you when it's time. With our current connections, customers finish posting in the social apps themselves. A planned time never means your post will automatically go live.
1. Plan it
Approve a post and pick a reminder time. It goes into your posting plan as Planned — we'll remind you.
2. Get reminded
When the time comes we email you, and the post moves to Time to post at the top of your Posting Queue.
3. Finish posting in the app
Copy your caption, download your video or photo and open the social app. Paste the text, upload the media and press the final post button there.
4. Confirm what went live
Mark each platform you really posted to. Skip any you don't need. A post is complete when every platform is posted or skipped and at least one was actually posted.

- LinkedIn
Customers post manually in their own LinkedIn account. A separate text-post button uses the workspace owner's connected account only, when explicitly triggered; it does not connect each customer's account or publish on a timer.

Daily emails and results
Optional Marketing Captain emails open an approved post or a new AI draft for review. A new draft needs your approval and may still need images or video. The email button never publishes a post.
Enter clicks, shares and comments from each app in Post Results. Weekly Review adds up only entered numbers. Passing a reminder time or entering results does not confirm publication.
